Our Equipment

At Sure Print & Design, we invest in top-of-the-line printing equipment to deliver exceptional results. Locally, we manufacture softcover perfect bound, hardcover glue bound, and print-on-demand books using digital presses such as the Konica Minolta c7090, Bizhub Pro 6136, Bizhub PRESS C1060, Ricoh Pro 1107EX, and HP Indigo 100K. These digital presses enable us to produce short-run or print-on-demand book products with exceptional quality and cost-effective prices.

For bulk orders of hardcover Smyth sewn books, we have a strategic partnership with a trusted printer in Shenzhen, China since 2006. This partnership gives us access to a state-of-the-art ISO9001:2000 qualified production facility. With machinery including KOMORI L440/x 4 Colours, Heidelberg CP2000 5 Colour printing machines, and a 2-colour Heidelberg, we can offer flexible book manufacturing solutions at highly competitive prices.

Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Printing

We are committed to mitigating our carbon footprint — leading the way on better paper, ink, and eco-friendly options.

Sustainable Paper

Using acid-free paper that contains a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste. This means that every single sheet of paper that goes into your book contains recyclable material. We also offer options with 100% PCW content.

Eco-Friendly Ink

With the environment in mind, use soy-based ink or vegetable based ink. Using this ink not only provides accurate colour printing in your book, but it also makes it easier to recycle the paper after use.

Printing Toners

Our digital toners are considered more environmentally friendly than traditional offset prints because they do not require printing plates. The biodegradable and environmentally friendly toners are dry toners that are nontoxic and can be de-inked in the recycling process.

Paper Waste

We work with the city of Richmond Hill to recycle all our paper wastes, scraps and cardboard cartons, leaving zero waste that never ends up in landfills.
